beetle home (2019)

The assignment was based around being able to depict overhead perspectives accurately, I took this as the chance to depict lesbian beetle cohabitation- heavily inspired by every fairy dwelling I made as a child, as well as the dwelling I hope to eventually find. I used to make a lot of fairy homes from shoe boxes and whatever I could find- this work was truly an ode to who I am, who I have been, and who I hope to become.
